Off topic side note: It would be a very interesting project to collate first-hand stories of pentecostalism in Nigeria over the different decades, from the eyes of children (well those who were kids in those decades). Boy, what a book it would be!

Some of it was way too overwhelming for me, in fact remembering some of the things some protestant adults said to me still makes me feel like a scared Catholic child feeling like she’s not good enough for heaven. My parents were so angry when they heard some of those things. Anyway, I shall write about it…
